Single Review: The Faim - 'Saints of the Sinners'
Hailing from Perth, Australia, The Faim have released their new single, ‘Saints of the Sinners’.
The band premiered the song on the Radio 1 Rock show, ‘Rockest record’ and it is out now on the label BMG Worldwide to whom they have recently been signed.
Stephen from The Faim says that “Saints of the Sinners is about making your mark in the world, and not letting anyone stand in the way of where you want to be. It brings out the youth-fuelled rebellion of the voice in all of us that wants to be heard”. It seems that the band are ready to break out of Australia and into the mainstream and with a track like ‘Saints of the Sinners’, this seems entirely possible.
The powerful vocals of the lead singer are complimented by the band’s drums, bass and guitars that are perfectly timed for the chorus; a chorus that will no doubt be screamed back to them at their live shows as an anthem for those who want to be heard.
The single was produced by John Feldmann, who described the band as “amazing songwriters, incredible performers” with a “great front man”. We are looking forward to seeing the rebellious energy that they will undoubtedly bring in their live shows.
The Faim will be playing their debut UK shows supporting Lower Than Atlantis in the Spring, as well as a slot at Download Festival in Summer.
