Single Review: K. Flay - 'Run For Your Life'

K. Flay is making a name for herself with her new track, ‘Run For Your Life’, featuring on the Tomb Raider soundtrack.

The experimental pop artist has been breaking through into the mainstream following her Grammy nominated single, ‘Blood in the Cut’. Her new track is as grunge-filled as her previous tracks and her progressive style shows no signs of slowing down or conforming the pop songs that are in the charts these days.

‘Run For Your Life’ continues the dark and heavy sounds present in her previously released tracks including her newest single, ‘Giver’ that was released with an inventive lyric video. Rock basslines and powerful guitars create these dark and somewhat twisted love stories that feature in K. Flay’s tracks.

‘Run For Your Life’ is no less than a fast-paced and powerful-sounding track that we hope will be more than a credits track on the soundtrack of the new Tomb Raider. It’s a track full of suspense and a shattering chorus.

We hope that she doesn’t drastically change her distinctive and moody style with her new found success securing her places on tour with the likes of Imagine Dragons and YUNGBLUD.

The second leg of her North American tour is going to kick off on the 12th of March in Washington D.C. and K. Flay continues to work on her highly-anticipated first album.
