Video: All the Luck in the World - 'Contrails'
All the Luck in the World’s new music video for their single, ‘Contrails’, saw director Thomas Vernay using the creative freedom given to him by the band to create a beautiful homage to friendship and love.
The video follows a group of teenagers through a day by the coast with laughter, mischievous behaviour and an overwhelming feeling of content. The soft colours and vintage look of the video seems to be harmonized with the calm and beautiful track; it almost feels like the song was written for the video rather than the video created for the song.
The track is the result of the band’s time given “to the thought that people’s lives often cross paths in such arbitrary situations, and that meaningful connections can occur even in seemingly fleeting moments”. This seems to be a perfect description of not only the song but the video also.
‘Contrails’ is the latest single to be taken from All the Luck in the World’s forthcoming second album ‘A Blind Arcade’.
The band will be headlining The Islington in London on the 16th of April as part of their European tour.
