Reading Festival announces more bands and brings the laughs

Reading Festival is famous for its huge mixture of big names on it's line up! This year has been no different, with the likes of Fall Out Boy, Kendrick Lamar and Kings Of Leon taking the headline slots this August. But it isn't just about the headliners, it's line up as a whole is amazingly dense with some of the best names around in the music scene, and today they have added loads more to it.

Founding member of Linkin Park, Mike Shinoda, will play an exclusive set at the festival, playing material from his 'Port Traumatic' EP that was released earlier this year. This is certainly going to create some emotions at the festival, as Shinoda takes to the stage following the passing of his bandmate, Chester Bennington. On top of all of that, there has been some brilliant talent thrown on to the bill. Feminist punks Petrol Girls, a massive favorite of ours are playing the festival, along with messy indie boys Spring King. Reading Festival ranges in so many genres that it always keeps you on your toes, also added today were The Used, Royal Republic, Coin, Trash Boat, Dinosaur Pile-Up, and many more.

The festival isn't just about music, head over the Alternative Stage, as they bring us the best in comedy to the event, with TV favorite Harry Hill headlining the stage, also making an appearance is Joel Dommett, Seann Walsh and Lauren Pattinson.

Reading Festival takes place August 24th - 26th 2018, you can buy your tickets here
