Single Review: Angie McMahon - 'Missing Me'

Releasing her first single at the end of 2017, newcomer Angie McMahon has graced us with the second single off of her upcoming debut album, ‘Missing Me’. It is no less than refreshing and exciting to hear such a powerful female voice breaking through in rock music.

Her powerful vocals are no less than relatable for a lot of the listeners to her first single, ‘Slow Mover’, which currently has over two million streams of Spotify. She has a voice made for rock-and-roll anthems and electric guitars; it’s one that we can see making a great impact on the industry and the world.

Angie doesn’t hold back from showing her vocal range on ‘Missing Me’ as she hits higher notes in the chorus and returns to lower pitch in the verses. We can’t wait to hear what else she has in store for the rest of the songs on her album. This track already feels like a stadium-ready anthem to be sung back to the Australian solo artist.

She is just about to embark on a month long Australian tour with plans for her international live debut in North America and Europe being laid imminently. There is no doubt that Angie has a way with words and we look forward with anticipation to what she will release next and where her debut album will take her career-wise.
