Single Review: Fizzy Blood - 'Pink Magic'

Fizzy Blood unveiled their new single ‘Pink Magic’ which is from their third and final EP expected later this year.

‘Pink Magic’ is the single that follows on from ‘CFO’, since hearing the previous single there is no way Fizzy Blood weren’t going to impress us again. ‘Pink Magic’ mixes both heavy rock sounds with electronic motifs which fills the song with so much power.

Guitarist Paul Howells speaks about ‘Pink Magic’: “It's taken us a few years to figure out who we are as a band, as musicians and as people, and this is the happiest we've ever been with our music… we're not a metal band and we're not an indie band, we want to be the band that excites all listeners of music and more, so stop giving out titles and just enjoy it.”

This song echoes Royal Blood and Queens of the Stone Age vibes, yet Fizzy Blood have created their own distinct, infectious voice with incredibly detailed guitar sounds which makes ‘Pink Magic’ an absolute banger of a song.
