Single Review: The Scruff - 'White Flag'

The Scruff prove why they are one of the bands to watch in 2018 with their epic new tune 'White Flag'.

The rock band from Bedford are now on the follow up to a great 2017 which saw them receive national airplay from their previous single 'Her', support from DJ's like Steve Lamacq & a countless amount of great live shows. This all meaning that The Scruff's new single 'White Flag' does have a lot to live up too but it delivers a five star performance.

'White Flag' is a single that shows a really cool maturity in the song writing & connects brilliant with the people about day to day struggles in a relationship. Although the lyrics are very strong it's the vocals & the crunchy guitar that are the catalyst which makes this song very memorable. I can guarantee that 'White Flag' will stick in the heads of many indie rock fans when the festival season arrives.

This is also a song where we start to understand The Scruff's unique sound which I feel is really important for this band. Another great song by The Scruff as they continue to grow & get better with every new tune they release.
