Listen: LUMP - 'Late to the Fight'

'Late to the Fight' is the latest creation from LUMP, the collaborative pairing of Laura Marling and Mike Lindsay. Between the two of them, they have a Brit award and Mercury prize, so you know it is going to be something magical.

This is the second taster from the upcoming album, 'LUMP', which is out at the start of June via Dead Oceans, this new track is the album's opener. On the track, Laura Marling explores the notion of lucid dreaming and the reality of being trapped within a public persona.

Paint dots on your wrists to see me in your dreams

Which is a technique used to expose a lucid dream.

As much as it is a musical pairing, the duo has expressed that LUMP is a creation that passed through them, and they look upon it like parents. The concept is that LUMP is the artist, and it will continue to create itself.

Following their live debut at a secret show in east London, Marling and Lindsay will be touring LUMP this summer including two intimate shows in one night at venues in Hebden Bridge, Manchester and London.
