Single Review: Cold Years - 'Endless'

Just after the release of their new EP ‘Northern Blue’ earlier this year, punk rock four-piece Cold Years have dropped a new single ‘Endless’.

This guitar shredding song, was written and produced specifically for their ‘Amped Up’ piece in Kerrang! Magazine. Unsurprisingly, ’Endless’ has drawn a lot of attention (and who can blame them it is an absolute banger of a song), it has received a lot of air time on the BBC Radio One Rock Show.

This song surely packs a punch, it is filled to the brim with strong guitar riffs, choruses that are sing a long worthy and head banging drum beats. The song carries a heavy vibe throughout, the bridge has a build up and drop that would get any crowd screaming for more. Frontman Ross Gordon gives it his all with his powerful rusty vocals, this rough, meaty irresistible sound definitely has us pressing that replay button. It’s contagious how catchy this song is, the energy from the quartet is huge.

Following on from the success of this single, the band have recently just played at the Heavy Music Awards 2018 launch night along with the support of Milestones and Loathe. We can’t wait for Cold Years to wow us again with another great single or maybe an album, it’s safe to say that we’ll be seeing them at festivals in the future.
