Anteros - 'Ordinary Girl'
Anteros release the captivating visuals for their new single, ‘Ordinary Girl’ which is another powerful cut, continuing to show their mature indie sound in a great light.
Anteros have been on a continuous rise, releasing one critically acclaimed single after another and have supported acts like Two Door Cinema Club, White Lies as well as selling out their own headline shows. They’ve excited their fans by announcing the release of their debut album next March called ‘When We Land’, an album which is already sounding remarkable. With hit tracks like ‘Breakfast’, ‘Call Your Mother’ & new single ‘Ordinary Girl’ all featuring on the new album it really creates a class blue print of what to expect from the band.
'Ordinary Girl‘ is slightly different to the dreamy indie disco tunes which we are familiar with from Anteros. However, the song still has a powerful chorus and an easy going melody but has a much darker and slower tempo which is very intriguing. The slower tempo in the song creates a controlled rhythm but when the catchy, bold, chorus kicks in this creates an anthemic quality that feels empowering. This song in particular really breaks free from Anteros’ typecast sound and throws a real curveball as to what hidden surprises to potentially expect for the new album.
