Australian band Good Morning bring their sweet Alt-pop sound to Vancouver's Wise Hall and Lounge. Comprised of Stefan (lead vocals,) Liam (guitar/vocals,) Joe (bass) and James (drums,) the band have been creating waves since 2014.

Upon hearing their music, you might recognize tracks like Don't Come Home Today, Oppsie or Warned You - one that artist Type The Creator has since shown to adore. More so, you’d realize that It's far too easy to fall in love with each of their simple yet blissful melodies that drive each song.

Coming from Melbourne, it's nice to see the four-piece receive such a warm welcome - for their first Canadian show too. Sharing their love for everyone that has come out tonight, the feeling is mutual as we delve into the wonderful setlist. Song after song, devotion begins to show as I've never seen a crowd so happy and eager to get rolling. And for a second, it’s as if time stands still.

I stand and watch friends dance around one another, mouthing the lyrics into surrounding faces and swaying with every guitar note or drum beat. At the back (of the hall) a couple twirl around each other, swirling and tapping along and somehow merging every song into the next as if they're the only two here - like a montage if you will.

The band’s sweet renditions echo in the large wooden room that makes up the WISE and a warm glow only adds to the mood. And once the show is over, we continue to sway and sing.

I guess that's the effect of Good Morning.
