Canadian indie rockers Close Talker share emotionally driven indie rock on ‘Carefully in the Dark’ taken from their striking self produced album, ‘How Do We Stay Here’.

Close Talker open ‘Carefully in the Dark’ using the less is more approach seeing a punchy, looped, drum rhythm lead the song, as short bursts of guitar strums contemplatively flitter in and out of the track. Lead singer Will Quiring’s vocally intimately rises from the production with a softness, honesty and emotive grit that impacts heavily on its listener

Lyrically, the track explores how we sometimes conceal our true feelings and put on a front, projecting a different version of ourselves, and how this affects the people closest to us.
