APRE - 'Dreamworld'

APRE explore a massive soundscape while speaking of emotional and political dissatisfaction on their latest single ‘Dreamworld’.

This duo met in the most unlikely of circumstances, as Charles and Jules first met in a West London chess club. Fast forward and APRE have already gone way beyond their humble beginnings, emerging as one of the UK’s most intriguing and hyped new bands in the UK taking clear inspiration from the 80’s which is peppered with the indie sound of Foals.

Their massively sounding epics are perfectly accomplished live show, supporting the likes of Sam Fender and Sea Girls in the last year. This Autumn has seen them embark on their most extensive tour to date, pairing up with Inhaler right across Europe with slots also coming up Friendly Fires and Half•Alive before the end of the year. The tour life certainly isn’t letting up going into 2020 with their rescheduled headline tour throughout February.

‘Dreamworld’ along with ‘5 to 5’ is certainly setting the scene for their upcoming EP ‘As The Crow Flies’, with the latest single providing a driving mix of alternative rock and motorised beats which masks the darker truths which is found in the duo’s lyrics.

APRE do exceptionally well to not only capture the sign of the times but engage with it in their unique way. Their shrewd storytelling with their space like production make each track a true experience and will bring APRE certain success in the future.

‘Dreamworld’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and APRE will support Friendly Fires at Birmingham’s O2 Institute on November 1st.
