Live Review: Fever 333 - O2 Kentish Town Forum, London 07/11/2019

Fever 333 - The Forum - 07-11-2019-173.jpg

As storm clouds rolled in on London, Fever 333 were here to create enough chaos to drown out the thunder outside!

With no support this evening the crowd had time to get themselves mentally/physically prepared for tonight’s demonstration, as the clock struck 9pm police lights startled flashing and a mixture of sounds and voices gradually grew louder and louder! At the pinnacle the curtain dropped and Fever 333 were revealed before dropping into ‘Made In America’; frontman Jason occasionally grinning and screaming “Made In London” which of course got a huge reaction from the audience! Jason then proceeded to jump and run around the stage like a human whirlwind all while performing “Prey for Me” and “Out of Control” before catapulting himself into the crowd, surprisingly being able to sing just as well while being bounced all around the venue!

The show somehow got even better when they brought out Nova Twins for a mash-up of Green Day’s ‘Brain Stew’, California Love and the viral ‘Old Town Road’; Jason stating that they are one of the best up and coming groups in the U.K. right now.

The mayhem picked up again right after with a trio of super heavy songs: ‘Walking In My Shoes’, ‘Animal’ and ‘Trigger’ which turned the venue into a insane mix of moshpits, crowd surfers and the loudest sing-a-long we’ve heard in a while!

Not long after, Jason made his way through the crowd and up onto the balcony to play a heart-warming rendition of ‘Am I Here?’ on piano, you could barely hear him over the crowd singing it right back, his face lit up as he heard this, and proceeded to say that “this is special moment London”.

The last few songs were such a blur, the chaotic ‘Burn It’ ending the main part of the set before coming back out for a three song encore of ‘We’re Coming In’, ‘The Innocent’ that had some of the most mental pits we had seen all night and finally ending it all on a high with OG single ‘Hunting Season’!

Fever 333 are a band that are consistently pushing boundaries and questioning not only what it means to be a band in 2019 but also what it means to be a person in 2019, they continue to amaze us with every new bit of music they bring out and hopefully we don’t have to wait too long for some more...
