The Quilter - 'Back From The Dead'

Glasgow’s newest musical prospect The Quilter continues to build excitement ahead of their live debut with the latest single ‘Back From The Dead’.

The Quilter is the brainchild of Glasgow native Stuart Dougan, a veteran of the local music scene having played part in a number of projects. But with the help of producer Paul Gallagher, Dougan has decided to go it alone with The Quilter, with the project now gaining notoriety off the back the debut single ‘December’.

Dougan’s musical talent is not in question, with the ability to play almost any musical instrument and his talent will be able to be seen first-hand as The Quilter gear up for its live debut at Glasgow’s The Hug & Pint. The Quilter’s bold and anathematic sound is perfect to shake any rafters and ‘Back From The Dead’ is no different.

‘Back From The Dead’ tackles the difficult process of conversations at the end of a relationship and trying to begin the process to “achieve closure”, hidden behind infectious indie synths and it is the perfect way forward for The Quilter as a project.
