Finnish outfit Blind Channel share exhilarating alternative rock on current single, ‘Died Enough for You’.
With dramatics, shifting dynamics and gut churning passion at the heart of their sound, Blind Channel open ‘Died Enough for You’ with an adrenaline rush of instrumentation and the doomed lyrics “this is where we fall apart”. The band quickly move into fast paced electro rock territory with nervy beats and and dark vocals/ lyrics before shifting into heavier, high energy territory.
What’s great about Blind Channel is that they bring a thrashing rock sound, melodically combining metal and alternative rock influences to create a thrilling symphonic sound that impacts with fury and fire. But they also keep a strong foothold in mainstream appeal with their muscular take on “violent pop” seeing them comfortably hold their own alongside acts such as Bring Me The Horizon, Enter Shikari and Bullet for my Valentine.
With a new album on the horizon, tour dates to be announced and an appearance in Austin TX for SXSW festival, 2020 looks like an exciting year for Blind Channel.
