Luca Longobardi - 'NOVA'

Luca Longobardi explores the theme of transformation on classical-electronic composition, ‘NOVA’.

Luca Longobardi combines the elegance of contemporary classical music with a forward thinking electronic twist. ‘NOVA’ is an immersive 4 minutes and 24 seconds of sound that pulsates with dark, eerie textures while maintaining a strong melodic and emotive undercurrent. Luca has created a brooding and emotive tune with simple aesthetics that cleverly gets more thrilling as the composition develops.

’NOVA’ was composed for Piano Day 2019 and is a live recorded improvisation making use of piano and synths. This is a composition filled with shadows but still retains an elegant air of beauty as it swells and transitions with an intriguing fluidity.
