Heir – ‘After Forever’

Heir delight the listener once again with their on-brand 80’s funks sound with the latest single ‘Forever After’.

Presiding from Leeds, this DIY-pop band have found independent success from their infectious rhythmical hooks and powerful vocal harmonies.

It has already been quite the 2019 for the five-piece having already released the excellently catchy ‘Better in Silence’, it’s only expected to get more exciting with the group travelling up and down the country following the release of ‘After Forever’, which includes a sold-out homecoming gig at Leeds’s Lending Room on April 10th.

‘After Forever’ has a case for being their funkiest single to date, combining the feelings of confusion, love, sadness, and promise that all comes part in parcel with the thoughts of the average millennial.

From the get-go, I get a vocal reminiscent of Haim and a piano sound plucked straight from The 1975’s ‘Somebody Else’, coupled that with their signature 80’s sound and honest songwriting, this track truly makes one that you can spin on repeat without growing bored.

‘After Forever’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Heir will headline Leeds’s Lending Room on April 10th.
