All Points East: Top Five Acts To Check Out

With less than a week to go until All Points East takes over Victoria Park, we thought we would help you decided who to go see. With some many fantastic bands and artists on it’s line up, who do you choose? Here are our top five picks to help you out. 


The Strokes
If you are like every other indie 00s kid, this band holds a huge piece of your musical influences when it comes to what you listen to now. With a huge back catalogue of hits and singalong tracks, the set from The Strokes is going to be something memorable. 


Yonaka
With a new album due to drop this week, Yonaka are certainly going to make a noise at this years All Points East. Despite being on everyone’s radar for a while now, it seems this summer is their time to shine brightly and for everyone to take nothing. Make sure you go check out their fiery set! 


Employed To Serve
If you enjoy something a bit heavier, Employed To Serve the ones to go see at this year’s All Points East. Their new album, 'Eternal Forward Motion’, proves that they are a force of nature on the metal scene at the moment. 


Jade Bird
This lady stole our hearts with her debut album, and is currently taking American by storm. With her unique personality and amazing songs, we reckon Jade Bird will be the surprise big crowd of the festival. 


Kate Tempest
Kate Tempest, I don’t think we need to explain much further to be honest. She is one in a million. We are hoping to hear from new material from her album ‘Firesmoke’, that is due out in June. Her performances are always emotional, for herself and the audience. So it you want to see something special, make sure you see Kate Tempest.
