Video Premiere: George Pelham - 'What A Time To Be Alive'

Rising star George Pelham recently released his amazing debut single ‘What A Time To Be Alive’, which oozes that vintage dancehall vibe that you can’t help move your feet to. Today he releases a special acoustic version of the track, and we are delighted to be able to share with you an exclusive video performance of the track. 

“Before I started playing gigs with a band I performed alone onstage with a guitar, so this is the version of the song I’m most familiar with. At the heart of the song is a love story, which has its lows as well as its highs, and I feel like you can follow the story a bit clearer when it’s stripped back to voice and guitar.” 

As part of his upcoming Live at the Gym sessions, George shot the video at a school gym in Walthamstow a couple of months ago. The video was shot and directed by Lindsay Isla Henderson and showcases George’s beautiful, soulful vocals.
