‘Mr Jones Says…’ is the new single from the latest project from Weathered Man. Weathered Man, The Noise is a two-piece rock band, and ‘Mr Jones Says…‘ is a great rock song. A cool and catchy riff kicks things off, with a 60s meets Miles Kane vibe. But the song writing is what is most impressive. ‘Mr Jones Says…’ has energy, infectious melodies and the instrumentation is layered to perfection. The vocal melodies complement the music perfectly. There’s an Arctic Monkeys feel to it too, especially in the high-note backing vocals. Yet there’s an almost metal breakdown in the middle – one that Royal Blood would be impressed by.

The beauty of different styles and approaches to rock and pop music are all rolled into one in ‘Mr Jones Says…’. It’s no wonder Peter Hook is a fan.
