The Satellite Station - 'I Should Have Fought For You' & 'No Escape From The Rain'
The Satellite Station shares rousing indie folk on ‘I Should Have Fought for You’, the emotionally charged follow up single to the heartfelt track, ‘No Escape From the Rain’.
The Satellite Station rounded off 2019 with two beautiful folk-inspired releases. ‘No Escape from the Rain’ was the first to drop in November originally presenting itself as, a spacious, slow building lyric lead song. The track builds skillfully and suspensefully into an ambient, crashing soundscape that touches on anthemic catharsis as The Satellite Station wholeheartedly pours emotion into his poppy hook; “now there’s no escape from the rain, no escape from the rain, no escape from the rain”.
On the track The Satellite Station explains, “This song is about the barriers we build around ourselves and what happens when we reach our breaking point.”
’I Should Have Fought for You’ is The Satellite Station’s most recent single and shows off a rousing indie rock sound that veils sadness in danceable, uplifting melodies as he explains, “This song questions the difference between how we feel and how we present ourselves to the world. How we often are so caught up in our own existence that we fail to see the people who need help around us”.
