Seafret - 'Love Won't Let Me Leave'

Indie pop duo Seafret get sentimental on soaring heartbreak single, ‘Love Won’t Let Me Leave’.

Seafret rounded off 2019 by sharing another impressive track taken from their forthcoming album ‘Most Of Us Are Strangers’. ‘Love Won’t Let Me Leave’ is a sensitive slice of pop exploring the perils of heartache when you can’t seem to move on from someone who has hurt you. It’s an impassioned piece of music that shows off the band’s anthemic, hooky side, growing from emotive minimal bones into a rousing sad bop that almost anyone will be able to relate to at some stage in their romantic history.

Speaking about the track Seafret explain, “We wrote ‘Love Won’t Let Me Leave’ before we started the main writing and recording for the album. Some songs have been left behind but this one stuck with us and we feel it fits perfectly into the album. We’re now proud to share it with you all!”.

Seafret, will be embarking on an extensive 23 date UK and European tour for 2020. The tour will showcase live performances of new material from their upcoming album ‘Most Of Us Are Strangers’ which is due for release in the Spring and will include a show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on March 18th and a Bridlington homecoming show for the duo on June 6th.
