Silverstein - 'Infinite' (feat. Aaron Gillespie)

Silverstein team up with Aaron Gillespie of Underoath on exhilarating single, ‘Infinite’, the lead single taken from their upcoming album, ‘A Beautiful Place To Drown’.

Post Hardcore veterans Silverstein get set to commemorate their 20th anniversary with the release of their ninth LP on March 6 and ‘Infinite’ is the perfect lead single to promote the record. ‘Infinite’ succeeds in delivering high energy tension through aggressive backing vocals and blistering instrumentation seeing thunderous drums come crashing down on distorted guitars at the track’s most frenetic.

But Silverstein also make use of spacious dynamics and cut into popular ground through the melodic appeal of the lead vocal and the meticulously crafted anthemic hooks. Infinite builds with boundless suspense into a hugely exciting song that deserves to be synced to some kind of superhero movie.

Recorded with producer/engineer Sam Guaiana, ‘A Beautiful Place To Drown’ looks set to deliver twelve mature post hardcore and emo inspired tracks that shows off Silverstein’s aptitude for moving with the times, whilst retaining their core appeal. These guys are getting bolder and better with age and have succeeded in tentatively treading popular grounded without losing their edge, or selling out to a sound that doesn’t quite fit them.
