Seven Four Seven Six most recent addition, Glaswegian Lizzie Reid, effortlessly makes us fall in love with her artistry in new single ‘Seamless’.

Joining the Seven Four Seven Six well known roster of up-and-coming indie acts which includes Matilda Mann and Matt Maltese, we have Glaswegian singer/songwriter Lizzie Reid who introduces herself with incredibly sincere single ‘Seamless’.

Opening with a very simple yet incredibly revealing guitar melody, the track is a personal statement regarding a lost love that somehow reflects directly on every single one of us. With a balance created by distinctive lyrics such as “First met in the cellar, where we tippled down to the sounds of Bilbao” and accessible phrases like “A language of love got lost on us. Fortunately, a tearing at the seams was seamless”, the song has the potential to reflect on pretty much everyone’s experience. The direct connection with the single is palpable and as the artist, herself, explains, “I listened to the demo on the train from London to Glasgow. I had tears streaming down my face. That was when I realised, I had written something deeply personal to me.”

‘Seamless’ feels both familiar and far removed but it certainly has a hook that leaves listeners wanting more, especially after being compelled by such honest and raw vocals inspired by Sharon Van Etten and Phoebe Bridges. This is just the beginning of Lizzie’s journey and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us.
