Chloe Bodur – 'Nothing New'
Rising singer songwriter Chloe Bodur shares emotive new single ‘Nothing New’.
“You have to romanticise your life,” a sentiment people love to throw around on the internet, but Chloe Bodur finally puts it into practice on new single ‘Nothing New’. Guided by atmospheric percussions and swooning guitars, the track’s immersive melody lines drift into a dreamlike state where they gently wrap around Chloe’s soulful vocals. At its very core, ‘Nothing New’ is a beautiful love song about feeling completely fulfilled in a relationship. “I don’t want nothing new now I’ve had you,” Chloe coos, radiating pure contentment. Talking about the inspiration behind the track, she explains: “Although I wrote ‘Nothing New’ about romantic love, the words can apply to an amazing friendship or an incredible relationship with family members or just with your own self-love too.”
‘Nothing New’ is the second offering released in anticipation of debut EP ‘Panties & Loafers’ – an intimate collection of love songs, that sees Chloe exploring a shift in self-acceptance and placing herself as the romantic lead. A must listen for dreamers and hopeless romantics.
