LA-based artist Elohim opens up about mental health struggles on new single ‘Good Day Bad Day’.

There is something to be said about the impressive honesty with which Elohim tackles ‘Good Day Bad Day’. Her extremely poignant lyricism snakes through a jungle of infectious beats and big rhythms, leaving the lasting impression that you can’t just “shake off” depression and anxiety. But what you can do is hold on to hope and optimism, fight your demons, day after day. As Elohim says in the track’s uplifting chorus: “Today’s a good day. Tomorrow’s a new day. If today’s a bad day, tomorrow’s a new day. We got to celebrate when we get a good day.”

Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Good Day Bad Day’, Elohim reveals, “To be honest, it seems like the good days have been too few and far between lately...but deep in my heart I know a good day is there running beside us in a parallel universe, and I wrote this song to help remind me that nothing is permanent and anything can happen."
