Medium Love - 'Dirty Knees'

London outfit Medium Love refuse to take their foot off the gas on their ferocious new single, ‘Dirty Knees’.

Led by Kacey Underwood, formerly of the band BIG DEAL, it has been quite the meteoric rise for Medium Love, only formed last year after BIG DEAL came to a natural end. Underwood took it upon himself to form a new band who have been hitting big with their sun-stroked guitar sound.

This new single comes hot off the heels of the quartet’s debut EP ‘Overcoming Shyness’, with ‘Dirty Knees’ taking a slice of cinematic flair which is wrapped up with a bow of bouncy chords. The new track perfectly captures the “emotional rush” and also the “fear” that comes as part and parcel of “finding romance”.

Lyrics are the product of Underwood’s dreams most of the time, which really adds to the cinematic flair of ‘Dirty Knees’, with a faint tinge of 00’s style rock which really takes the track to another level. Medium love are really beginning to carve out their own space within the musical sphere and ‘Dirty Knees’ is another great example of the talent that they have at their disposal.
