Sucker Song Of The Week: Deco - 'I Don't Wanna Go Out'

Leading Britain’s new pop scene, London-based Deco have just dropped their latest single I Don’t Wanna Go Out, written about having an anxiety to socialise and perform.

Blurring the line between 80’s synth-pop and new wave pop, Deco have asserted themselves in the indie touring scene, packing out venues up and down the country. And when they’re not doing that, they’re playing on big festival main stages and supporting the likes of Jess Glynne and Casey Lowry.

I Don’t Wanna Go Out is an anthemic and punchy delight, even utilising a classic key change in the final chorus. It’s catchy, cathartic and colourful - it couldn’t be anymore Deco. Speaking about the single, the band said: “Acceptance is a big step in working through mental health, and this song became part of this very relatable process. The purpose of this track is to uplift and inspire people to talk about their mental health”.

You can catch Deco performing live this month, finishing off their most popular tour yet in Hull (22.2.20) and Nottingham (29.2.20). Tickets can be purchased here: www.decoofficial.com
