Wnderland - 'Changing'

London cinematic pop due Wnderland make their musical debut with ‘Changing’ a beautiful story of recapturing youth’s hopes and dreams.

’Changing’ pairs Sarah McIntosh’s intime and clean vocal against Thom Robson’s airy, subtley swelling production comprised of emotive piano, strings and vintage synth. The track opens with an ambient, dreamy atmosphere that offers immediate escapism and intrigue setting a soothing backdrop to self exploration and personal growth as Wnderland explains:

“‘Changing’ beautifully captures the inner journey taken to recapture youth’s hopes and dreams. It was recorded initially using a number of vintage and modular synthesisers with engineer, Tom Orrell at The Nave studios in Leeds and then structured and developed in London by Wnderland”.

What I like best about ‘Changing’ is how Wnderland incorporate elemental sounds into the production to give the track a really pure and organic sound, but they do so in such a way that it feels like a spiritual awakening. ‘Changing’ is a stunning message to embrace the wonder, mystery and magic found through realising dreams, personal transformation, and trusting in the future that things can turn out exactly how you want them to.
