The Pale White - 'Polaroid'

The Pale White look fondly at the past as they look to tackle the new decade head on with their new single ‘Polaroid’.

This trio has been slowly building their reputation over the last few years, with their infectious, heavier indie sound finally breaking them into the mainstream over the last two years since the release of their highly lauded EP ‘Take Me to the strange’.

Their live shows are also becoming somewhat of a legend, the most recent being their headline slot at Sunderland’s Independent to celebrate Independent Venue Week and was nothing short of epic. People are starting to sit up and listen, with the Newcastle three-piece already set to take their rip-roaring live show to the likes of Truck Festival and The Great Escape over the summer months.

‘Polaroid’ is the follow-up to ‘Swim for Your Life’, one of the biggest surprises of last year and easily their most complete release to date. The new single is the first taster of what we can expect from their highly anticipated debut LP, and ‘Polaroid’ doesn’t stray too far away from the signature sound that the band ground out over the years.

The single looks at “freezing” in a specific moment, though it’s certainly not where the band are looking at right now who are ready to “take on 20’s” which can certainly be a decade of dominance for this North East outfit.

‘Polaroid’ is out now on all major streaming platforms and The Pale White will play at The Great Escape in May.
