Birthday Card - 'Talk Talk'

Birthday Card transport us to 3020 with their futuristic new single ‘Talk Talk’.

Based out of Aylesbury, this five-piece are relatively new to the scene, but their sound is from light years away. There are clear influences in pop, dance and hip hop making them one of the most diverse and talented newcomers in the country.

The quintet’s live show has also becoming quite the talk of the town, with Birthday Card taking coveted support slots for Dancing on Tables and The Golden Age of TV in both Brighton and London over the next month.

Autotuned rap and is a clear influence on this band and that shines through on ‘Talk Talk’ as they look to reach out to each and every individual and as leadman Josh Saw says to get everyone “speaking to one another”.  This trap/pop ballad hybrid is a true testament to the work that these five lads put into their craft and makes me excited to see where they can go in the future.

‘Talk Talk’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Birthday Card will support Dancing on Tables at Brighton’s The Hope and Ruin on March 23rd.
