RUNAH - 'Same Face'

Mystical entity RUNAH shows off a new progression of sound on quirky indie electronic track, ‘Same Face’ which is accompanied by thought-provoking, sci-fi influenced visuals.

Opening with ethereal vocal fillers, ‘Same' Face’ quickly develops into a quirky electronic driven tune that moves with a playful, dark elasticity that would give Billie Eilish’s ‘Bad Guy’ a run for its money. While moving away from her organic folk bones and amping the art pop side of her influences, ‘Same Face’ is still unmistakably RUNAH and that’s a real credit to her enchanting, idiosyncratic vocal and powerful, conceptual lyricism.

As the track develops, RUNAH embraces 80s spoken vocal influences seeing, ‘Same Face’ move into sleeker territory. This is a visionary dance pop tune that explores the theme of technological advancement and what the future may have in store for us when human and machine collide.
