CHIEF - 'We'll Be Alright'

CHIEF wants everyone to know ‘We’ll Be Alright’ on their retro indie pop single, which is an uplifting soundtrack to times of uncertainty.

‘We’ll Be Alright’ is a nostalgia-drenched single that acts to soothe the soul in troubled times. 80s revival influences are strong here in the tracks smooth atmospheric vocals and dreamy synth and drum patterns, but CHIEF threads 70s rocks influences through the conquering guitar work on the track, which gives the song a nice edge on its roaring guitar solo.

What this four-piece probably didn’t realise when they released this song last month is how badly the world needs to hear this song. As we all get sucked into the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic where one by one we begin to lock our doors, lose our jobs, and halt our social contact with friends and family; the lyrics, “We’ll be alright, just give it time, we’ll be alright” acts as a well-needed lifeline to keep things in perspective.
