Indie-rockers The Manatees have just released cathartic new single ‘Tongue Tied’ which is this weeks Sucker Song of the Week.

Buzzing across the airwaves throughout early 2019 with the release of singles 'What If' and 'Headstrong', The Manatees have gained notable support from key tastemakers including BBC Radio 1's Huw Stephens, Radio X's John Kennedy and 6 Music's Steve Lamacq and Chris Hawkins. High praise coming from Hawkins in particular labelling the band as "...new guitar heroes".

Spending the rest of 2019 in the studio recording new music with former Spring King frontman Tarek Musa, ‘Tongue Tied’ is the first result of this infusing 90’s garage rock tones with a contemporary anthemic chorus in the vein of Catfish and The Bottlemen and The Vaccines.

“Tongue Tied explores the feelings of anxiety and desperation of losing somebody you love”
