Sugarstone - 'Tiger, Reach Out!’

Synth superstars Sugarstone bring back the best of 80’s pop with their new single ‘Tiger, Reach Out!’. 

Originally from Preston, this Manchester four-piece have been grafting hard in the North West and gaining a loyal fan base in the process since 2017. Their work has seen them share the stage with the likes of Calva Louise, Strange Bones, and Kid Kapichi, with dates also lined up in Manchester and Blackpool towards the end of 2020. 

The quartet are set in their ways with their heavily 80s-inspired synth-pop sound, something we’ve seen rarely done right over the years, but this young band have certainly hit the nail on the head with ‘Tiger, Reach Out!’. 

‘Tiger, Reach Out!’ certainly takes a different direction to the band’s previous releases.  Sugarstone’s new track wouldn’t be out of place on an 80’s fitness video, taking the best of the decade’s beats and synth-pop to give us a big dose of escapism that is certainly much-needed right now. 

Sugarstone are really flexing their creative muscles by delving into different areas of their sound, and ‘Tiger, Reach Out!’ will take the Manchester outfit a long way to asserting themselves as one of the most talented, diverse acts in the country right now.
