Lauran Hibberd - 'Old Nudes'

Slacker Pop Princess Lauran Hibberd returns with playful new single ‘Old Nudes’, and they’re everything but disappointing. 

Known for her satiric, tongue-in-cheek lyricism, Lauran has quickly become one of the go-to names for casually cool indie tunes. ‘Old Nudes’ wonderfully adds to that image being her most infectious single to date. With punchy guitars, groovy beats and a worldie of a melody, it radiates the Lauran Hibberd brand of sarcasm-laced confidence we all know and love.

Talking about the track, Lauran reveals: “‘Old Nudes’ is unfortunately based upon a true story. We’ve all been there right!? The track looks back on the ‘mistake’, and almost mocks it using over confidence. It belittles the receiver, and oozes sarcasm and naivety. I keep writing songs about being young because I’m scared of getting too old to joke about these things”.
