Sea Girls - 'Do You Really Wanna Know?'
Sea Girls are gearing up for their biggest year yet in the right way with the new single ‘Do You Really Wanna Know?’.
This four-piece have had the indie scene by the scruff of the neck over the last year, asserting their dominance at the top of the genre earlier in 2020 with the release of their highly acclaimed ‘Under Exit Lights’ EP. But the time has come for the quartet to break their own glass ceiling, announcing their highly anticipated debut album, with ‘Open Up Your Head’ set for release in mid-august.
The news has been warmly greeted by their rapidly expanding and loyal fanbase, they and the band alike are already impatiently waiting for Autumn to roll around for their bumper UK tour. It’s set to be their biggest yet and will certainly enhance the band’s reputation to put on a frenetic, boisterous show.
Sea Girls and specifically frontman Henry Camamile have rightfully earned a reputation for their style of writing, perfectly combining their dream-like melodies and colourful guitars with brutally honest lyrics that come straight from the heart.
‘Do You Really Wanna Know?’ fits perfectly into the Sea Girls mould, Camamile is at his most vulnerable, delving into his mental state and into the innerworkings of self-worth. But coupled with that is a jangly earwig of a chorus which sticks with you long after.
