Casper Jones kicked off the year with the release of his five-track EP ‘nomad’ which shows off an honest singer-songwriter sound at its foundation, with a splash of experimentation into soul, hip hop and alt/ indie rnb influences. ‘Stormy’ is one of the tracks that sits on Jones’ EP which he dropped a live performance video of at the end of March. Where the EP version is a fresh and edgy, mellow indie rnb sound, the live cut shows off Jones gritty soulful vocal alongside dynamic electric guitar melodies, punctured with bursts of percussion and a raw rocky energy.
With huge commercial appeal and an immensely powerful vocal that sits nicely somewhere between Dermot Kennedy and Tom Grennan, Casper Jones is an exciting rising talent with endless potential.
