The Band Explains: Pace - 'Fallen'
London-based alternative-pop act Pace speaks to us about their invigorating single and music video ‘Fallen’ which explores the enlightenment found from transitioning towards self love.
The music video was filmed in Prague in collaboration with STINK FILM Production. One of the Black and White locations you can spot in the video is actually a campus of the University of Architecture in Prague that we hired too. We wanted to create an alternative worlds where characters were able to travel from one to another. First one (Black&White) portraying burden that all us carry, while second one depicting freedom and openness. Music Video is exploring this transition of individual characters from one world to another - their own transition to self-love. Piece by piece they are uncovering their real faces and true self. 'Fallen' invites listeners to fall in love with their perfect imperfections , thus become 'Fallen'. It's anthemic chorus 'Come on hold my hand and kiss away all the doubts that hold you back' speaks to all of us self sabotaging our relationships, careers and daily lives in general. We shall kiss without prejudice instead. The very last scene to shoot was a lake scene - where I had to fall back to the water. It was a late October and already quite cold weather outside, therefore what you cannot see in the frame is my scuba divind suit from the waist down keeping me warm
