Lazy Day are back with their first release of 2020, ‘All the Time’ – a live staple that fans will rejoice in hearing recorded at their convenience.

‘All the Time’ follows the release of the single ‘Real Feel’ and the Letter EP. It is Lazy Day’s finest-sounding track and an instantly great indie/alternative banger. ‘All the Time’ begins with a slick little crunchy riff, followed by a howling catchy chorus. However, the middle is lead by a piano and becomes a little more dream-like, to then come back to the grit of the guitars in the form of a Graham Coxon-style guitar solo. It’s musically flawless and serves as the perfect canvas for Scantlebury to sing about taking control on your own terms: “The lyrics flit between feelings of resentment and defeat, but I wanted the song as a whole to sound really defiant.”

If that was the intention with ‘All the Time’, then Lazy Day have nailed it.
