WILD - 'Surround You'
LA indie-folk trio WILD hold out a hand of support on re-energising single, ‘Surround You’.
WILD explores helpless terrain on moving single, ‘Surround You’ a formidable track that tackles the emotional uphill climb of watching someone you love struggling and feeling powerless, desperately hoping that love and loyalty could ever be enough.
While WILD are no strangers to rousing indie folk choruses and threading dark lyrical themes into light soundscapes, ‘Surround You’ shies away from the bouncy and sugary spirit of previous WILD tracks to embrace a gutsier, more brooding and cinematic direction.
Written in collaboration with producer Dave Bassett, Surround You’ is made of tough tug-at-the-heart-strings stuff and is taken from WILD’s forthcoming EP, Goin’ Back, set for release via Nettwerk on June 12th.
