Honey Lung - 'Big'

Honey Lung perfectly encapsulates isolation and comfort in one fell swoop with their new single ‘Big’. 

Brought together by a Gumtree advert, the London outfit have really used the last two years to hone their craft on the live circuit. The group are now beginning to reap the rewards for their hard work, signing for cult label Big Scary Monsters with recent singles ‘Be My Friend’ and ‘Juggle’ brilliantly showcasing the new era of Honey Lung.

‘Big’ is the latest cut from their upcoming EP ‘Post Modern Motorcade Music’, showcasing their newly-refine melodic sound. ‘Big’ perfectly brings together an accumulation of feelings that were captured by vocalist Jamie Batten’s trip to last year’s Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival. 

This is a very deep personal tale of “choices and relationships” and things aren’t as straightforward as they seem. Such deep lyrics are perfectly juxtaposed with an upbeat guitar melody, brilliantly showcasing Honey Lung’s talents and make them ones to watch in 2020.   

‘Big’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Honey Lung’s ‘Postern Modern Motorcade Music’ EP will be released on May 29th.
