Wild Front - 'Selhurst Park'

Wild Front continue to build anticipation towards their new EP as they long for human connection in their harrowing new single ‘Selhurst Park’.

This South Coast quartet have become well known for their guitar pop anthems that are fuelled emotion and nostalgia that knows no limits. Having garnered massive success thus far, the four-piece are looking to take it to the next level with the new EP ‘The Great Indoors’ set to drop in June.

The current situation hasn’t stopped the foursome from creating their sweet synth pop sound, performing on a number of live streams for the likes of BBC Introducing and ‘Selhurst Park’ being written, recorded and produced in their isolation creation station. ‘Selhurst Park’ is the four-piece at their rawest, sharing their longing for human interaction and brilliantly replicates a bleak euphoria within a disconnected bond.

The haunting guitar is reminiscent of Simple Minds, focusing on Selhurst Park as a place of “nostalgia” during a “very dark” period of time for frontman Jack Williams and serves as a reminder that “no one is forever”. Though haunting, ‘Selhurst Park’ serves as a beautifully raw piece and stands as Wild Front’s best piece of work to date.

‘Selhurst Park’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Wild Front’s ‘The Great Indoors’ EP will be released in June.
