Dirty Nice and their addictive experimental pop are here to brighten up the mundane with the new single ‘My Dead End Self’.

This London and Bournemouth duo, this two-piece have garnered cult acclaim for their ability to blur the lines and find their place on the border of a variation of musical borders. Charlie Pelling and Mark Thompson have also become renowned for the addictive qualities of their glitchy alt-pop style and ‘My Dead End Self’ is perfect epitome of that.

‘My Dead End Self’ in essence is a hopeful track, helping the listener to find the euphoria in the mundane of everyday life. The inspiration for the track couldn’t be any simpler, stemming from “walking down the high street” and how those surroundings can bring the smallest and simplest of joys.

The infectious dance beat is something that stays long in the memory and the eardrums, reminiscent of The 1975’s ‘I Like America & America Likes Me’. ‘My Dead End Self’ is a song that is hard to put down and one that is perfect for the state of the world to help us find the little rays of light in the dark.
