Nasty Cherry – 'I Am King'

Queens of the unconventional, Nasty Cherry, share the second track from upcoming EP ‘Season 2’ (June 19th) – the masterful ‘I Am King’.

With grand opening line “Wake up and remind myself that I’m the fucking king”, ‘I Am King’ doesn’t need much of an explanation. It’s an anthem of self-love and a playful ode to getting freaky. Punchy guitars and a hook-heavy, infectious chorus round up the fantasy, giving Nasty Cherry a license to kill with confidence. What makes the track exceptional, however, is its last note. Not to spoil the ending but in keeping with a strong opener, ‘I Am King’ leaves with pure gold. Let me just say this: Serena van der Woodsen is quaking. 

And there is more where this stunner came from. ‘I Am King’ is only one of five tracks on Nasty Cherry’s sophomore EP ‘Season 2’, all bets are on that this is going to be record to remember.
