Dan Croll is gearing up for his highly anticipated third album with another double-a-side single and hitting the feels with the main track ‘So Dark’.

The Liverpool-based artist has wowed audiences the world over since his explosion onto the scene way back in 2014, with breakout single ‘From Nowhere’ being used here, there and everywhere. A lot has happened in that time for the soloist, moving to Los Angeles at the beginning of 2018 and it is those 12 months that have inspired Croll’s third album ‘Grand Plan’.

Set for release in August, ‘Grand Plan’ perfectly encapsulates his time in California, with each cut from the LP like a chapter in itself. Croll’s return to the limelight has been unique in itself, releasing cuts in twos and that’s no different as we get ‘So Dark’ and ‘Honeymoon’. Emotion is a long-running theme throughout Croll’s music, with ‘Honeymoon’ looking at romance under the microscope and the anxiety that comes with a new relationship.

‘So Dark’ takes the lead as a main single, capturing Croll’s feelings on his move to LA and how fitting into a new environment is difficult. ‘So Dark’ is beautifully led by synths and fuzzy guitars to perfectly capture Croll’s feelings at the time, setting him up for his strongest body of work to date.

‘So Dark’ and ‘Honeymoon’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Dan Croll’s third album ‘Grand Plan’ is set for release on August 21st.
