London’s most promising folk newcomer Phoebe Coco shares new single ‘Brick Wall’ taken from her upcoming debut album.

It’s a story as old as time: you fall in love, after a while, love gets lost and though you know better, you refuse to let go. In ‘Brick Wall’, Phoebe Coco puts her beautiful voice to the cause, narrating the rise and fall of kids growing up to the rhythmic thud of drum machines and gentle percussions. Phoebe’s rich vocals ebb and flow with the melody while the layered harmonies of her twin sisters create a dreamlike state that is hard to resist.

Lyrically, ‘Brick Wall’ is as enticing as it is relatable - “She’s banging her head on a brick wall. Banging, banging, banging, doesn’t budge at all. She’s walking strong, she’s walking tall, but she just can’t resist the pull.” An enchanting song that sets the bar high for what is no doubt going to be a magical debut album.
