Following his debut EP ‘Bodies’, Eli Moon shares a magnetic new single ‘killmeinmysleep’.

To say ‘killmeinmysleep’ is personal would be an understatement. It’s a deep dive into Eli Moon’s psyche. Rich, softly warped vocals float on a river of smooth, soothing melodies and create a sense of calm while his captivatingly honest lyricism gives voice to a troubled state of mind -  “If there’s anybody out there, that thinks the same as me… If there’s anybody out there, that wishes they were six feet deep… If there’s anybody out there, that thinks there must be more… If there’s anybody out there… then why have I been here before?” It’s a song coloured by deep sorrow, a song that understands, a song that doesn’t pretend to be anything but a way to cope and, in that very vulnerability, it creates a safe space, a place of healing.

Talking about the track, Eli explains: “I wrote and produced ‘killmeinmysleep’ from the bedroom in my childhood home. The song is an introspective expression of both the inner turmoil I face every day with not wanting to deal with people and the self-sabotaging results of that behaviour. With all that’s going on in the world today, I think it’s fair to say we have all found ourselves feeling claustrophobic and out of touch with reality and if this song can help ease the tension for just one individual, then I have done my job."
