Mellah - 'Habit'

Mellah is showing more sophistication on his latest lockdown creation in the new single ‘Habit’.

The South Londoner has grown his sound and his fanbase since his debut EP in 2017, new releases have sparse in the years in between but 2020 seems to be the year for creativity for Mellah. The solo artist is already looking to the future, gearing up for his monumental headline show at London’s Scala in February next year.

Starting off with the fizzing single ‘Family Fun’ and now ‘Habit’, adopting a more sophisticated sound than its predecessor, but is certainly no less enticing. ‘Habit’ is inspired by just that, falling into the those harmful “cycles and vices” and the “internal conflict” that comes with that. Though it has that deep meaning, ‘Habit’ is about finding “courage” and not fear that change.

‘Habit’ really does hit deep in its emotional meaning, coupled with its infectious, guitar-led sound which really does make for great listening and sets Mellah to be one of the year’s brightest and most talented artists.
